Family Guy Movie

Even though Monday morning sucks ass, there is the highlight that I watched the Family Guy movie over the weekend and it's hilarious! Constantly funny, topical, and occasionally just makes you go "urrrgh!", Perfect stuff.

Monday Monday..

Hmm.. It's fair to say that Monday sucks, for a great many reasons.

1) The Conway Sisters. Why are they still in X-Idol? They can't sing, they're a bunch of munters, and they've been driving me to distraction. At least B*Witched had the fit blonde one. Who's voting for this wank-sacks?

2) George Best. Or rather, his family. So, his son is a bit busy out clubbing to go and see him, and his girlfriend has gone on holiday to Tenerife. Of course, his ex-wife wants to see him, but mainly because she's a media-hungry pigdog. So, you divorced him much earlier in the year, but still go by his surname? Would that be because the only currency you have in the celebrity world is that you used to boink a fat yellow ex-footballer?

3) Annoying knobs in the pub. Photo to come. Some twat that looked like he thought he was the bees-knees, when he was in fact a bald waste of space. Getting a sneaky photo was quite tricky, but I'll post it up soon.

4) Changing the clocks. My body isn't ready for it! I woke up at 5am this morning cos of the clocks change. No fair!

Oi! Church! Nooooooo!

What was she thinking? It's amazing that Charlotte Church, who isn't top of my "list" but is definitely in there somewhere, has made herself look like such a dog just by getting a terrible haircut. How did she ever think it was going to be good? Urgh.

Here's Ms Church how I like to think of her:

Shame... Shame...

Slashdot | Blizzard Made Me Change My Name

OK, I'm a big geek, but I found this story on Slashdot to be really interesting. No great reason why, but since I don't play online games it was odd to read that people really care so much about this stuff...

Phil's Bad Hair Day!

Now that is a hairstyle!

After Dark, October 27th

Wow. First blog, good thing to write about. Last night I was at the After Dark in Reading, the best club in town by some way, for one of the gigs they've started hosting. And it was awesome! White Sunday, The Palestinians, The Heartwear Process and The Race. It was the second gig there in this "series" that's being put on by Unsigned Showcase and it was just spectacular.

White Sunday were really good musically and performance-wise, although I must admit the singer's voice doesn't really do it for me that much. The Palestinians were excellent as ever. Then The Heartwear Process were on, who were just gobsmackingly good! I only got to see a bit of The Race unfortunately as I had to leg it to get home.

But we definitely need more gigs at the After Dark - the place deserves its legendary reputation!
